KX-125 Brand New

10/11/103 - KX-125 - Bought this one brand new last April but decided to put in a KY-197A and a KNS-80 instead as Nav/Com 1 and this unit is a little too much investment for me for Nav/Com 2. I called the factory and they told me that the 2 year factory warranty transfers to the new owner if I sell it and I can give you Bendix-King's phone number if you wish to call and check it out. I will also give you the serial number as King tracks that for warranty purposes so you can check that too. This radio has been stored in my climate controlled house since purchase and has not been installed in any airplane and it has NOT been power up. KX-125's are 14 volt radios with a built in CDI but they did NOT include a built in glideslope receiver. To add glideslope you have to add a CDI (indicator head) such as a KI-209 or a KI-204 and an outboard glideslope receiver. A KN-73 or a KN-75 will work. If you want an external Course Deviation Indicator (CDI) without glideslope, one can be added. I have a KI-208 in excellent condition if you are interested. Rocky Mountain Instrument MicroEncoder

10/9/103 - I bought a RMI MicroEncoder for a project that I've since sold. This instrument is an excellent item for any experimental or kitplane. It acts as a backup to your altimeter, vsi, airspeed, etc, while taking care of encoding for your transponder. I needed that low speed option, so this one works from 5 to 158 knots. The factory can probably convert it back to standard range (30-474kts) for a slight fee. Really cool. Just ask anyone that's flown with one. I bought mine fully built by the factory, and I took it out of the box to admire, then put in on my closet shelf. Never used. Brand ne
